Sci Fi fans: if you loved the "Ender's Game" book, the movie does not disappoint.
Boiling down Orson Scott Card's 1985 classic novel down to two hours is an almost herculean feat. But director/screenwriter Gavin Hood largely pulls it off, thanks to spectacular special effects and great acting by Harrison Ford, Asa Butterfield ("Hugo"), a grown-up Abigail Breslin ("Little Miss Sunshine") and the incomparable Ben Kingsley.
"Ender's Game" felt a bit rushed at times but was still a fun ride. And the zero-gravity battle school scenes were a thrilling work of art.
